The sunny skies here in Eastern New Mexico have really put me in the spring spirit. It is supposed to be in the 60's and 70's for the rest of the week and that is my kind of weather! |
I put together a spring vignette in the entry way this morning. You may recognize the sheep and church from Christmas.....I have several seasonal things that I use year round |
I hung a boxwood wreath on the mirror and tied a burlap and pink lace bow on the front of it. Then , I tucked a bundle of pussy willow in the corner. |
I put a pink burlap fence around my square of boxwood to "corral" the sheep....lol I added some green moss around the church and have a tiny baby sheep grazing by a tree... |
Don't you love this cute sheep fabric from Joann's.... |
I glued a tea cup to a pretty china plate and filled it with moss and tiny eggs.... |
I love your sweet little sheep, Penny. Every spring when my uncle's sheep had their lambs my brother and I would each pick one out and bring it to the farm once it was weaned. We would keep it for a couple of weeks and then have to take them back to the fold I always picked the black sheep....lol..doesn't that just figure? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love the vignette of sheep! Everything is wonderful and springy!!
ReplyDeleteI too love your little sheep Penny! Everything looks so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your vignette at THT!
ReplyDeletePenny, I am drooling over your sheep. I have been trying to find some like these for over 2 years without any luck. I did find a large chalkware one and a small cast iron, but would love some like these! So cute how you corralled them in the boxwood. Hubby and I are heading out of town for the weekend, but it's looking like I can harvest our pussy willow the first of next week. I too am loving this warm weather we are having! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann

ReplyDeleteSo delightful! I just love lambs -All the charming details! the nest in the tea cup is so clever-Thanks so much for the little hint of Spring- the temp is 0 here so Spring seems very far away :)
ReplyDeleteI love this sweet vignette!! I love the the sheep!! And I adore the church!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to decorate for Easter this year as I did not do it last year but with temps. as low as they are here ( minus 4 degrees here this morning ) , it is not wise to open that attic door and let all that cold air come down into the house. Plus , it is too cold to even go up there and look for things!!
We are also supposed to get another 4- inches of snow tomorrow......
Hugs,
Deb
