The finish was pretty much gone, but the trim and legs were still in good shape. |
H painted it pink and then took the sander to it and made it look shabby. I thought pink was a good choice for the color since the table would be setting against a white wall. |
I'm not sure if I like the lamp choice yet, so it may change. |
How beautiful your new little table is!! I just love the color choice and what a perfect place for it! Your decor inspires me every time I come by and, little by little, I can make the beautiful changes to my own home.

Little tables like that can be so hard to find! I am always on the lookout for things like that. I think you might be right about the lamp..A taller one might work better. :) Just kidding. Anything you put there will look great! My couch is the same way..We just shuffle the pillows around to make ourselves comfy. It's neat.
ReplyDeleteGreat transformation! I love the new look of the table, it' s so pretty now. I like very much the lamp too.

Penny,
ReplyDeleteI had already left a comment on this post but I was at work and I see it disappeared into thin air....
Any whooooo.....
I love this sweet table because I had one many years ago that my Dad had re-finished and when I was in a clearing out binge, I gave it away... Luckily to my neighbor, whose house we watch because she is in a nursing home....
I may have to go over and "borrow" my table back now!!! LOL!!
Love the pink finish on it!!
Hugs,
Debbie
