Lavender Spring Tablescape

I am crushing on lavender this spring!

I don't have a lot of lavender home decor,  so I had to search far and near in my cupboards.....

to find enough napkins, placemats, plates, glasses.....

I even had to fill in a few place settings with paper plates.....

but.....I got it done!

Many of you ask "where do I store it all"?   Well,     here is my stack of wooden chest that are full of silverware that I use in my tablescapes.     I have hid them in the corner under a vintage table cloth and set a silver tea set on the top of them.

I have found that it is easier for me to do a short post several times a week instead of a couple of long posts,  so I will do a short post on the lavender buffet in a couple of days.     See you soon......

  1. Beautiful!! Love all the pretty pieces on your table.
Before I got married and lived with my parents, my bedroom was painted a deep lavendar!! I loved it! I had thought about going with lavendar in the Guest Room when we re-did it after Jim moved out but went with yellow instead....

  2. So pretty, was my Moms favorite color. Can't even tell the plates are paper :)

  3. I love that lavender glassware. Your tablescape is lovely. I have a guest room with lavender accents and everyone always wants to sleep in that room. lol xo Diana

  4. So pretty, Penny. I love your purple glassware. Also, I am impressed that you have all of this done already! I still am trying to decide what I would like to use for my Easter table. I guess, I had better "get with it"!!

  5. So very cottage ! Great Easter job! Love it!

  10. Everything is gorgeous...and I am limping along!! I've gotten some things up..then I came to visit you...and ...threw a pity party for myself. I drug out the crates..and..that's as far as I got. I love the lavendar. I used a bit of it last year..but probably won't do much of it this year. I always have to show my company your home. :) Just SO cute, Penny!
Your silk flowers are so fantastic. You have taught me to see things in a totally different way. Things I would have normally passed by..catch my attention.
