H and I are relaxing at home today. We had a cookout yesterday with the kids, but they all have to work today, so it's just the two of us. |
Maybe I'll just sit in my chair today and enjoy the yard. I can see the green house from my chair. How do you like the pink shabby sheet grill cover? |
Maybe I'll take a nap this afternoon in my vintage baby bed..... |
Or we might work on our next project......the conservatory.... |
Maybe we'll have tea......or work in the rose garden..... |
We'll have our lunch on the back porch..... |
The porch we are having lunch on sets on the east side of the sun room. |
I just had to throw in a photo of the back yard. H mowed it this morning and it looks so pretty. |
I think any one of your ideas is fabulous - and who could ask for a better space as yours to relax?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to have a porch to sit and relax and watch the world go by! Love that vintage baby bed!
ReplyDeletePenny so many options! I know you had a good day, so did you and Mr H come up with an exciting new project? I bet you did! Can't wait to see!
ReplyDeletePenny, you have a dreamy property. Every inch of it looks fabulous. Hubby would like your teapot with the sail boats on it. He grew up on the water so anything nautical appeals to him. Thanks for joining me for tea and Happy Memorial Day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi

THis is my first time here and I absolutey LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Your porch is like something from my dreams. Incredible! I wish I could stop by for tea time :) Nice job. Hugs, Trish
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming, welcoming place you've created! It's warm and inviting, and simply exudes comfort. You so have the talent for creating and arranging things exactly to my taste, the way I would if I had your gift for such lovely choosing and putting-together of the perfect colours and shapes and textures. That "mantel-piece"? is absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteOur pink kitchen is still at the no-countertops stage, but I DO have those marvelous drawer-and-shelf liners all ready, and the walls and cabinets are simply perfect---at least to me, after that butter yellow and maple all these years.
Happy Pink Saturday---you're always a highlight.

Isn't life just grand? Just fun to think of what we might, or might not do. That's one of the best things about being our age! And why not enjoy the beautiful gardens and buildings that you have worked so hard to create? Lovely Penny, just lovely! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
