See how the big yard light floods the whole yard. It' a commercial street light that the electric company installed in the alley behind our house. It is well worth the $12.76 we pay each month.' |
Over the week end, I finally found a $2 yard sale lamp shade for H's giraffe lamp that he bought this past summer at the auction. |
I've had this chandy in the guest bath for the last few years, but had replaced it when we did our redo because two of the arms had quit working. H rewired it today and hung it in the greenhouse. |
I put a comfy wicker chair in the greenhouse and plan to spend some warm afternoons this winter..... |
enjoying a cup of tea, and a good book. |
I had my first cup of tea this afternoon in the greenhouse.....on one of my many breaks...lol! I couldn't find any markings on the bottom, any idea who made it ? |
Oh, Penny, fresh tomatoes sound so good! I LOVE your hubby's giraffe lamp. I think every home ought to have a giraffe somewhere. Your teacup is really lovely. Not sure of the maker but it is lovely with its gold, posies, and scallops. Thanks for joining me for tea today.

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteI just love all your little buildings that you have in your yard!! How much fun it must b to have all these in addition to your home!! I love how everything looks at night. We have been busy and cleaned up and packed away the garden things from out front, decorated the front for Fall , took out the downstairs air conditioners and cleaned the wIndows and i have decorated the living Room for Fall except for the Fall tree which I hope to do today.......Temps. are still above average but in the 80's which is tolerable.....
Hugs,
Deb
It all looks so pretty in the evening too with the glow of the lights from your home, it is great how you find new homes for the things you have replaced in the house.
