I haven't done a Junkin post in a couple of weeks, life has been busy with the upcoming wedding of our daughter in October. |
We had a chance to go to a few yard sales Saturday and boy was I glad we did! I've seen these chafing dishes in silver many times, but not in gold. |
The lady also had the casserole dish to match. Since I wanted to buy both of them, she let me have the pair for $15. |
$40 for all! I couldn't get them loaded in the car fast enough...lol! |
I'm a sucker for silver hand mirrors.... |
Although the mirror is broken in this one, I thought it was well worth .50 |
A lovely ceramic watering can.....$5 |
My last treasure is a crystal cake pedestal....$2 |

How wonderful to have such a beautiful day to find these great deals, my favorite has got to be that pitcher!
ReplyDeleteWoot, the mother-lode. Can't wait to see the pictures of your wedding, thanks for sharing, Sandi
ReplyDeleteHopped over from Stephanie's *Roses of Inspiration* link-up party to *meet* you. What incredible finds!!! My favourite is the china....Noritake no less!! What a gorgeous pattern! And to think....a complete set! Happy wedding planning to you. Many Blessings, Camille
ReplyDeletethose dishes are so lovely!
ReplyDeleteYou found some lovely unexpected treasures! That is the best kind. Have a great day! Lynn
ReplyDeleteMaybe if we'd get our lazy butts up early enuf we'd find some good deals at yard sales here (few miles west of Grand Junction, CO). It's hard for me to get hubs to go to yard sales, he's just not into the"treasure waiting for me to find" mentality. He is handy for finding addresses of sales. I am so envious of all your finds but those dishes are superb, what a find girl for $40, oh my stars. So happy for you. Will you be using any of your finds for daughters wedding?
ReplyDeleteGreat month to marry, not too hot and not too cold. Hope her wedding goes off beautifully. Happy week
I have "dish envy"...what a great find!!!!
