Christmas Mantle

I know I say this every year........but,  I think this is my favorite mantle...and I've done a few over the years...lol!

It could be my favorite because I love the theme so much.

The family room is filled with my collection of Nativities.

I like to create my own nativities from bits and pieces that I have found over the years at yard sales and auctions.

My Christmas banner is Love and Joy......

Next to the baby,  I think my favorite nativities pieces are the sheep......

Pink angel wings are stung across the mantle garland.

I have a large candle on each side of the mantle.

We always need extra seating during the Christmas season,  so I brought in  the chairs that were in front of the lit cabinet in the dining room.   I also have the piano bench nearby for extra seating.

I have angels scattered throughout the room as well as in the Nativity vignettes.

The Nativity on the mantle is resting in a bed of roses and babies breath and I have  three stars lit  to make sure the wise men can find their way to the stable
I hope to get the family room tree finished soon      I am very excited about this years tree... it's a little different than I usually have....

  3. Penny, this is so pretty; love the soft pink! I like your sheep too. I find sheep very charming and I guess they always remind me of the UK. The angel is lovely too. Thank you for sharing this with us at No Place Like Home. Enjoy your week.

  7. I admire how much you do to decorate! Wow! It took me 2 hours today to figure out how to put together the 2 mall trees I got! I like that they are pre-lit so no stringing lights on them! Now I just have to adjust the branches and get them decorated! I wish I had your energy!! Your mantle is lovely and so soft looking!
