Since all the tea party guests will be dressed in their finest attire , a white glove Christmas garland is the perfect touch for the mantle |
I have flocked pink flowers on the mantle, Santa's. and some tea party related decor...... |
Anyone for tea? I bought this Santa serving tea at Dillard's several years ago. |
To give my ruffled pillows a holiday feel, I pinned a pretty Santa head on the front. |
I hung this Merry Christmas sign on the easel that was just sitting there next to the chair.....I haven't decided if it's going to stay there or not. I usually hang it on a door. |
Oh Penny---*THIS* is my favorite...I know I have said that before---but I so love the white glove garland...Toooo cute!

I had to laugh when I read your post today. I could not agree with you more. Retirement is everything I wished for. Stayed in a pair of pj's for two day..fresh ones each day of course..because...I decorated for Christmas in them. Like you, I ran a brush through my hair and pinned it up and that was it for the day.
ReplyDeleteI love the new pink Santa hat. Too darned cute! Such cute idea's...so much fun to see what you come up with...such as the garland of gloves. I mean..who else but Penny?! :)
Your blog is so fun! Where o where so you store everything?!

ReplyDeleteI'm speechless again! You are unique to decor with great style. Very nice the white gloves.

Being retired is the best. I'm in year three and still loving it. The white glove garland is my favorite but the bottle bush trees festooned in jewelry are running a close second. Thank you so much for sharing at Vintage Charm.
