Pink Nativity

There is a display cabinet on each side of the fireplace in the family room.    I shared the cabinet on the left decorated for Christmas in an earlier post......

Here is the cabinet on the right decorated for Christmas.

  I painted a dark brown creche pink,  wired a garland of pink roses to the top,  and have a bright star in the sky .

Next to the creche  is the  mother and baby ......

I have Mary, Joseph, and the baby in the creche....

and the angel is on the side

On the second shelf,  I have the three wise men.....

The next shelf has a hand painted nativity set.  

 I bought this set at a yard sale last summer.   The set wasn't complete,  only 2 wise men and the head was broke off the shepherd ,  but I loved the colors and it had the most important piece.  the baby Jesus. 

I have some vintage angels on the last shelf.

This is the vignette to the side of the cabinet.

Doesn't this angel have the sweetest face?

So,  here is the cabinet to the left of the fireplace.....

and here is the cabinet to the right.......

I am almost finished with the mantle which is decorated in the same theme.....the birth of Jesus.....which is what Christmas is all about!
