New Cabinet in the Kitchen

I do my "deep cleaning" for the year after I take down the Christmas decor.     This is when furniture gets moved over and vacuumed or mopped under.     Sometimes when it gets moved over....it gets moved out....lol!    That is the case with this small lit display cabinet that was at the end of the hallway to the bedrooms.

I thought it would look better in the kitchen......and I had something else planned for the hallway anyway.

What do you think?    Don't you like it better than the shelf and metal rolling cart?  

The shelf went to the formal living room and I'll show you the cart in another post......I made a rolling hot chocolate bar out of it!

I filled the shelves with some of my treasures......

My mother and dad gave me this Chocolate Pot for Christmas about 15 years ago.....

A Mothers work is never done.....ain't that the truth!

This is the Chocolate set that belonged to my mother......

I was ashamed to see all the dust that was under the rolling cart!    Good thing I only deep clean once a year.....that's about all I can stand to look at  that much dust....lol!
