Easter Tablescape

We have been trying to eat  healthier in 2016 and I think a pretty table can really make food seem to taste better,  don't you?

I started to delete this photo because of the two Baby A lives showing in the background on Ky's TV tray,  but I decided to show what real life is around the Phillip's house!    While Ky is away at school she thinks H and I are "babysitting" her two babies....lol!

I started my tablescape with the two big standing bunnies that I bought from a long time friend at her yard sale a couple of years ago....$3 each...

I added an Easter tea pot...also a yard sale find.     The bunny egg holders came from HL several years ago.

I thought my ceramic carrot cake would add some whimsy to the table......

I mixed plaids and striped linens and used what Easter plates I had on hand.    I have looked every year for some pretty Easter themed plates,  but no luck so far!

I used my go to white plates and chargers  and the silverware that we use every day.

I thought my sheep would make a cute napkin holder,   but I couldn't find the matching salt and pepper shakers to save my life!

You can see on the DP buffet table that I originally had the sheep over there.....

I wasn't crazy about him over there,  so I went to the display cabinet and stole some of the sheep that I had in a vignette there.   

I put some spring pillows and bunnies in the extra chairs that we use when we need seating for 6.

I tried to take photo's of the table with the bunnies facing toward me,  but the sunlight was so bright that I had to turn them around and take photo's going the other way....

See how much better the bunnies photograph without  the sun light  behind them?
