I filled the mantle with summer roses......and a yard long rose print |
Dressed my bicycle up with lace handle bar streamers .. |
I turned a vintage birdcage upside down to make a basket for my little pink owl to ride in |
Should we have a "picnic style" lunch on the coffee table today? |
I put a nosegay on each bicycle wheel.... |
I thought about making a cover for my bicycle seat, but I really like the rusty look |
I have added art pieces around the family room to give a feel of "Art in the Park" Here's a link to the other side of the room where I have another art display http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2016/05/open-furniture-arrangement-for-summer.html |
Next to the bicycle, I have a picnic basket |
Maybe we'll spread out a blanket and have an indoor picnic in front of our summer fireplace |
WHAAAAT???????? Just a little fun playing with my photo's on PicMonkey |
I love the new summer look in the family room! |

Penny,
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!! Love the bike! But I would not want to sit on the seat and ride it!! LOL! Love the rusty seat from a decorating point of view though!!
The upside down birdcage is a great idea. I have been a bit under the weather lately. Hopefully, if the sun ever comes out, I will feel better....
Hugs,
Deb
Penny I love it all. The bike is adorable and I love how you have that little suitcase displayed with tea cups. SWEET! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
