Trophies for Memorial Day Activities

Our family starts the  Memorial Day weekend festivities with a trip to the cemetery to decorate the graves.

 Then we come home for a cookout.....maybe a quick nap after lunch......and then some fun family games.
   

I thought it might be fun to give out trophies to the game winners this year.

I found these trophies in a "free" box at a yard sale this past week end and could see the possibilities for a "makeover" !     

 

Dollar Tree made my free trophies look great  for just a couple of dollars! 

What was H doing while I decorated the porch?

We have a local supermarket that has Ribeye steaks for $5 a pound around the holidays....but you have to buy them uncut.   So H was busy cutting steaks this morning for our Memorial Day cookout.  

Are you getting ready for Memorial Day yet?  
Seems I'm getting slower and I have to start getting ready earlier than I used to....lol!
