Garden Theme Mantel

The 4th of July is coming right up and  will be here before you know it!

I started to design our porch mantel this morning  for our 4th celebration.....how do you think it looks so far?    Not much like a 4th celebration....huh?    More like a garden theme don't you think?

Let me show you how I've decorated the mantel so far.......

Right this way......

I have a Mason jar welcome banner across the front of the fireplace......

I've stuck  black board herb markers in the plants.....

I used some dill and a single rose bud to make a small floral design on the mantel......

So far so good.......still not much of a 4th of July look yet though........lol!

Here's a sneak peek of what the porch will look like decorated for the 4th

Be back soon to show you the finished mantel and my 4th of July tablescape!

  6. How do you keep all the materials you use (inside and outside) as well as all the other decorative bits and bobs cleaned? I would go bananas!
