So many different pieces went into the making of my new entry piece that I don't even know where to start telling you how it came together! |
I do know however, that H did a fantastic job constructing the new piece for the entry |
It starts with the top piece of a dresser (a yard sale purchase)........then he added a tall framed mirror to the front of the dresser piece (you may remember this mirror from the front porch) |
Once the entry piece was finished, it was time for me to do my part of the entry makeover...... |
I made a large floral design....... |
Then I started hot gluing paper butterflies to the stems in the floral design....... |
I had quite a few butterflies so it took me a while..... |
I also added some decor to the shelves on each side of the mirror..................... |
and more paper butterflies....... |
Here's the view from the kitchen doorway looking out the front door...... |
More butterflies...... |
I told you I made quite a few...lol! |
I added some lighter/smaller pink flowers to the existing garland above the entry piece..... |
And of course a few more butterflies..... |
This is a mini paper cupcake stand that I made..... |
I put a piano chair on one side of the entry piece..... |
The other side got a vintage ash tray that I filled with vintage domino's and a cute metal lady bug. |
The pink and white polka dot flower pillow in the piano chair is a recent purchase at At Home...... |
wait, you have goats???? (in your entry photo)---How cool is that. I love what you have done...have a beautiful week.
