When having a simple meal, it is important to me for the tablescape to be really pretty |
I began my tablescape with a bouquet of fresh flowers from the yard ...... |
It's hard to make plain toast look good, but I think these plates will do a pretty good job of it! |
I found these sweet 3D oval duck plates at an estate sale a couple of weeks ago...... |
Won't these platters be perfect for serving deviled eggs at a party? |
I bought the only two platters they had at the estate sale......$4 each |
and the matching salt and pepper shakers were $1 for the set |
The scent from the nearby flocks fills the air |
What a great way to start the day! Toast and eggs would look stunning on your plates, something so simple but when placed on pretty plates can really make it special.
ReplyDeleteI just love those platters!
ReplyDeleteI love the platters also- I have benn enjoying my coffee under the big oak tree erly in the morning here in Florida. I have seen a mama pileated woodpecker teaching her baby to fly, this morning 2 cardinals. The gekkos are out and about. It is too hot here for lunch nd dinner also this time of year. How blessed we are.
ReplyDeleteLove the plates and shakers - totally understand the heat problem. I really only go out to water my container plants around 8 AM. The low here is only 79 degrees, so by 9 am, it's hot!
ReplyDeleteThis is a such romantic way to start the day. Your breakfast is very charming and fairy. I love your colazione al fresco...fresh breakfast!

Penny,
ReplyDeleteThose platters are amazing!! The whole vignette outside is lovely but I hear you with the heat. This Summer is unbearably hot for me and I am stuck in the house with the air conditioning because of temps. around 90 and terrible humidity which is wrecking havoc with my arthritis. I do not do well in heat and humidity.
Next week looks cooler. I hope so as I will be off for 3 days next week!
Hugs,
Deb
The platters and s&p are so fun Penny. Perfect for your alfresco dining! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
