If you follow my blog, you know that Ky does NOT sleep in this bedroom....she sleeps with her Nana...lol! She stores her clothes in this room and that's about it! With that being said...... |
Let's start the reveal...... |
I have really layered the fabric on the bed since no one sleeps here....it was so much fun to pile on the quilts....pillows....and bedding. |
I layered the pillows and bedding. There are three quilts on the bed and a couple of sheets. It's a great way to store your collection of quilts in plain sight! |
Here's a close up of two of the quilts and one of the sheets. |
Here's a close up of the third embroidered quilt |
Let's take a stroll around the room............. |
Here's the view from the door way.............. |
This is Ky's dresser where she stores some of her clothes and treasures She also has clothes in the closet too. |
The tall object in the corner covered with lace is a slot machine that Ky and H have fun playing. The mirror on the wall is another piece from the hallway. |
I wanted to show you the room all lit up.... |
Now that this project is finished, we're going to tackle the hallway! Please visit my side bar to see "Where I Party" and stop by and visit a few of these great blogs! |

It's so girly! Our granddaughter has been away for the summer and I'm trying to think of an economical way to spruce up her room a bit. Her mom is doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing your links at Celebrate Your Story and have a fun weekend.

Your guest room is an inspiration. I've been trying to reclaim ours since my daddy passed 6 weeks ago but I still have not been able to get the closet emptied without breaking down. I took a big leap hanging a heavy green silk-ish floor length drape at the window as it gets a good deal of sun and I want to use the room for some crafting. I only have a week to get done as the children are visiting... I like the idea of storing extra pillows on the bed also. Always look forward to your blog... especially your shopping finds and renovations!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful room! Very vintage and cosy! Is that a ballerina frog on the chair? I used to have one of those! Thanks for linking up with #FridayFrivolity
ReplyDeleteIt is a gorgeous room. Love the light hanging from the ceiling. My favorites are the quilts. I have quilts that were made by both of my grandmothers. They are very special to me. Thanks for linking with #overthemoon!
