Christmas Stockings and Santa's in the Hallway

H has had therapy and/or  Dr appts every day this week.  but I am so pleased to say that he is doing really well.    Normally I would have decorated the hallway for Christmas in a day or less,   but ....not this week...lol!

We had tile wood look planks laid in the hallway this past summer.    We patched the walls and gave them a fresh coat of paint.    To avoid filling the walls with holes again,   H hung me some vintage wooden window frames to put my wall decor on.    I have all kinds of knobs to hang stuff on and I also can tie things to the frame.      I hung my ever growing collection of Christmas stockings and a few Santa heads on it.

This Santa head is one of the biggest ones I have ever seen and I don't remember where or when I bought it,  but he has been one of my favorites for years.      His long white beard is just gorgeous.

This is one of my oldest Santa heads......I think I bought it at Walmart years ago.

These Santa heads are flat on the back and have beautiful beards....

I have collected all kinds of stockings over the years.......

Victorian.......Country......Shabby chic.......

Satin and crocheted......

H attached a vintage full size head board  under the windows .........

The foot board is attached to the wall across from the headboard.

I found my pretty Peace on Earth sign this year at Hobby Lobby

I have a Santa on the table at the other end of the hallway and that's as far as I've got.....need to finish that vignette     I also would like to put something Christmasy on the large mirror at the end of the hallway.    Maybe after Thanksgiving!

  4. What a great idea to hang an old window frame to hang things from. As always, everything looks beautiful. The last few months I've kept my eyes open for pink or white Christmas decor and I'm excited to make a vignette with some of the goodies I've found. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful decorations and ideas......you've inspired me to try a different style with more pastel colors, which I love. Glad hubby is doing so well. Judy

  10. I love the tile floor! They are doing such a great job with recreating the look of wood now, aren't they? Blessings to H, may he be healthy to enjoy the holidays. A great way to keep the walls keeping crisp with the frames on the wall! Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for sharing at Celebrate Your Story!
