Sheep Tapestry and Pastel Pumpkins

I'm not quite sure how long I've had a fairy garden on the buffet in the sun room,   but I noticed that I created a fall fairy garden on it in September 2 years ago.    So,  I think it's time for a change,  don't you!

I had been eyeing the tapestries that are available from Society 6 and decided to order one in.     Here is a link to the site.......https://society6.com/product/little-sheep-x53_tapestry#s6-2970235p42a55v412     I didn't receive any compensation ....I just like their stuff.

All of the tapestries they sell  are pretty large,   this is the smallest one.     The one thing I like the most about a tapestry is when I want to change it out,   it will fold up into a manila envelope for easy storage.
The outdoor theme on my tapestry works perfectly with the outdoor feel of the sun room.

Before........................................................................After

I love sheep and the colors on my tapestry work so well with the sofa and chair colors in the sun room.

I am really being drawn to the farmhouse look that is so popular right now,   and the rustic barn fits in nicely.

H packed away all the fairy garden in a tote a took it to the studio....thank you honey.    H is a much better packer than I am....so careful to wrap each item and mark the tote.     I kind of throw it in a box and hope for the best.....lol!

I selected rustic pumpkins at the "patch"

I chose pastels and natural colors......

Then I added a mama and baby......

and a daddy too!

I filled an old wooden file box with straw,  a  sheep family,  and a dried sunflower head.

I used an old file box that H collected during his 40 plus years in the trucking business.    ICX was a trucking company that closed in the mid 80's.

I haven't used my printer in a while,   but I have seen so many wonderful printables that I brought it out of retirement.

I printed some fall tags to put on the pumpkins.....

I think the tags just add a fun detail ......

As a final detail,   I filled in around the pumpkins with some dried oak leaves from the yard and some faux ferns.    Then for the final touch,   I placed a basket of white mums in the center of the buffet.

I am really pleased with the new look for the sun room!

  1. The tapestry makes the arrangement, along with the pumpkins. The best arrangement you've ever done.

  5. With the kids in dorm rooms they have gotten pretty into tapestry's as a fun way to decorate for a low cost. They are really easy to hang with velcro strips. :)

  6. I love the tapestry and the decor underneath just blends in so well, that its hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. I love what you did.
