The tabletop size of my flower cart is perfect and I've used it on almost every tabletop in the house....lol! |
Today, it's on a small table that sits in the wide spot in the hall that goes to the bedrooms, utility room, and baths. |
The mirrors above the flower cart reflect the linen storage on the wall across from them. The mirrors also reflect the mirrors and floral design in the guest bath. |
From this angle, the mirrors reflect the barn doors at the end of the hallway. |
The flower cart is pretty heavy since the bicycle is metal and the cart is wood......... |
I filled the cart with spring pansies.............. |
I added some art to the vignette............. |
I sat pots of greenery around my cart...... |
I layered lacey crocheted pieces under the cart...... |
I added a lacey piece of crochet to the canopy too! |
I have the original white canvas fabric on the canopy today, but it can easily be changed out to a pretty print fabric. |
There are two skylights in the hallway...... |
I also have a big chandelier to add more light in the hallway. |
The other end of the hallway has empty window frames on the wall |
I change out the prints in the frames for holidays and seasons So, the theme in the hallway right now is spring flowers and bicycles. |
I used a similar theme in the master bath...... |
I have a flower market theme in the master bedroom, so this whole end of the house kind of ties in together! |
Thank you for stopping by......come back soon! |
Stunning!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique and beautiful way to display flowers! Looks like I need to scope out antique stores for garden and home decor. I use to go antique shopping with my mom. My husband has gone with me when we are on vacation and passing through a new town. Thank you for sharing! #Thoughtfullthursday

I have one of these flower carts. Came with a house I bought. Was wondering if you could tell me more about it?
ReplyDeleteI found the same vintage bicycle cart at my local Goodwill. I got it to possibly give it to my Mom but I am loving your ideas and may keep it for myself! Beautiful!
