Week End Treasure Hunt

I had a pretty successful treasure hunt this week end.
I can always use vintage dishes in my decorating and tablescapes......and I love it when I can find pretty floral fabric to decorate with.      I use sheets and bedspreads all the time as an inexpensive way to recover furniture pieces.

On top of my mound of treasures,    I have a rusty whisk that is the biggest one I've ever seen and it was a great buy at $7 !         I think it would be so cute with a bird nest in the center of it.......what do you think?

I think I'll place this metal welcome mat at the front door.......it was $5.

The whisk and welcome mat came from the sidewalk sale that my fiend at Lavender and Rust was having Saturday.

Now to get a closer look at my pile of treasures!

I found a set of 4 round salad plates.......

and one single square plate......

Here's the marking on the back of the plates.....

I loved the colors in the bag of bedding that I bought for $5.

The tag said it was a twin comforter,   but after I got it home and out of the bag I think it's a full size.    Doesn't really matter,    it's a lot of fabric for me to use in my decorating projects.
The big pink doilies were $2.50 each.

I can't resist pretty vintage pillow cases.

I stopped by Hobby Lobby while I was out treasure hunting and found myself in the 75% off isle.      I thought the metal drying rack was a great buy and could be used in several different ways.....

$8.75,   such a good price.
Oh.....I see that I almost forgot to show you the 2 white crocheted dresser runners that I found for 50 cents each.

H and I had so much fun treasure hunting.........can't wait to do it again next week end!
