Winter Kitchen

I have my winter kitchen finished just in time for a New Years Eve get together!

We've had snow the last few days here in Eastern New Mexico,    but the sun is out today and the kitchen is flooded with natural light this morning.

I sure am missing my Christmas tree in the kitchen.        Want to know a little secret?     I just wheeled it into the family dining room and I may not take it down just yet!

I went around the kitchen taking photo's this morning  and I think I'll let them do most of the talking.........

I wanted to share how I'm using the back side of my metal Christmas buildings.       I just use a sticky magnet to attach pictures I printed from Pinterest on my home printer to the metal buildings.       I plan to use them year round.

I used two sided sticky tape to attach a strip of  black and white buffalo check paper to the vent hood.       I used this paper to wrap Christmas presents and had some left over.      Who knows where it will show up again.....lol!

I found this silvery eucalyptus at Home Goods the other day.       I attached it to my tobacco baskets with ribbon.......it sure smells good in the kitchen!

And a view of the kitchen from the family room side. of the pass thru

Did you notice that I replaced the Christmas curtains with  some soft pink and cream buffalo check ones?

I want to thank each and everyone of you  for stopping by to visit me in 2018 and want to wish each and everyone of you a Happy New Year!

  2. Penny you are amazing. You must be a retired military wife to pack that fast and have as many pretty things to protect. I love your new Winter Scene too. I like the black and white buffalo check strip on the hood over your stove. You are so cleaver.
Where did you find your pick up truck? I need to find one of those too. I found a John Deere tractor with a clock in the rear tire. I have a Santa that perfect to drive it for next year's Christmas.
Bless You and Mr H, may you have a fabulous 2019. I can hardly wait to see what is in store for the next holiday.
    Thanks for sharing.
