Whimsical Spring Mantel


            What could be more whimsical than baby farm animals playing in a field of mushrooms!
      


I love to put unexpected things together to create a visual story that will  make you smile........





Is the baby calf laying under the mushrooms to protect her from a spring rain........or is she taking a nap in the shade of a mushroom cap?









I created a paper / fabric  picture to clip on each of  the chicken wire frames I have hung above the mantel

    Good morning Penny, What adorable mushrooms and what a cleaver way to display them with your sweet little animals. Are the tall mushrooms old? They do make a great Spring display.
