I was so impressed with the makeover that my daughter just finished on her bathroom that I couldn't wait to share it with you guys
She did most of the makeover herself.......and kept her total cost around $2000 which is amazing since the countertop was about $700.
She did almost a complete demo...... about the only thing she didn't replace was the tub and cabinets. |
I'll start the reveal by sharing the new strip lighting and overhead lighting that she installed. |
She painted the walls a soft grey color and installed new ship lap on the wall behind the mirrors. H cut her ship lap and her sons helped install it. |
Her choice of mirrors was perfect for the new look! |
What a transformation just paint ....new mirrors.....and lighting can make! |
The Farmhouse faucets she chose are just perfect H and Melissa's hubby installed the new faucets |
Melissa painted the existing cabinet a softer grey color than the walls. She.....and I mean SHE.....laid the new floor tile. (H cut her tiles) |
Melissa replaced the bead board behind the toilet with ship lap. Her 2 grown sons set the new toilet in. |
New shower heads and faucet were installed by a friend that is also a plumber (he gave her a good deal on the installation cost) |
Melissa and H worked out the details on how they would install custom shelves in the shower area for all her soaps. |
Melissa laid all the subway tile in the shower! |
A sweet ruffled shower curtain completed that side of the bathroom. |
She decorated the walls and counter top with a few new things, some she had on hand, and I gave her a few of my Farmhouse pieces. |
She loves teal and uses that color in her decor all around the house. |
The 'Blessed" sign has been a long time favorite of Melissa's and she hung it right back up where it had been. |
Oh I absolutely love the new bathroom. Everything looks wonderful. I love the baskets on the wall so much. The colors all look great together too. Tell your Give your daughter kudos from me. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
