I'm calling this my late summer garden theme mantel...... |
I added a Farmers Market sign to the existing door on my barn, then I added a floral wreath print on each side of the door. |
I printed off Cottage garden prints to make a banner to hang across the mantel. The prints are from the July packet that I get from Kerryanne at Shabby Art Boutique. |
I wanted a simple (simple for me....lol) mantel so I only decorated on the ends of the mantel |
Here's this end of the mantel..... |
and here's a close up of this end of the garden banner...... |
I added a Secret Garden door to the existing barn to add a little whimsy to my mantel |
I put a pink lantern on each side of the door |
The lanterns had to get a make over first though..... |
Here's some close up's of the other end of the fireplace mantel |
And the final touch to my fireplace was to place a little lamb pillow at each end of the hearth...... |
I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back soon! |
Adorable. I love the barn with the buffalo check. Precious.
ReplyDeleteoh my word you get more creative every day .Beautiful as always
ReplyDeleteGood morning Penney, I love the pink lanterns and 3 sheep or are the goats, oh whatever they are they are darling. Love the peaceful look of your living room.
ReplyDeletePlease don't rush Fall because right behind it is the awful cold we get. I am not looking forward to Winter again so soon. We just got rid of it in June.
Thanks for your creative touches they are always enjoyed by me and a coworker.
Have a happy day.
Leona
