I decorated the entry for spring, and then I just skipped right over summer! I love to work in the yard when spring arrives, so it's not uncommon for me to skip over a season....or two....lol! |
I didn't go full throttle into fall decor for now.....but I will add some pumpkins and a few other things later. |
Under the wreath, I have my Christmas chicken wire truck that I've had for a couple of years. |
If you look close, you can see parts of the metal sign that is attached to the truck that says "NOEL" I make signs to cover up the Noel so I can use my truck year round. |
I wanted to dress the wheels of my truck up a little, so I hot glued white sunflowers to them for a fallish look. |
I filled the truck bed with cotton bolls......and placed a sweet pink pig on the top. Wheeeeee.....he's going for a ride! |
I filled the shelves on each side of the mirror with Farmhouse style decor...... |
And here's the shelves on the other side of the mirror. |
I don't just hang Give Thanks signs around Thanksgiving.....you can usually find a couple of them somewhere around the house year round. |
I had my big mailbox filled with a Spring floral design earlier, so for a different look I closed the lid and created a vignette on it |
I took down the spring decor on the other side of the entry about a week ago, If you missed that post, here's a link to it.....http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2019/08/easy-diy-fall-rag-garland.html |
The entry will be finished as soon as I add a little fall decor to the wall on the left side of the entry. I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back soon! |
Did you enjoy decorating your bedroom growing up? And was anyone else in your family love decorating. I suggest you start a magazine, nothing ever looks out of place

ReplyDeleteHi Penny, I just found you again after losing you for a year, through another blog. So happy I did, it's like being home again. I recognized your decor style in a picture and knew it was you. I love what you have done getting ready for fall, so far. And your kitchen looks amazing since I last saw it, not better just amazing. Be well and happy!

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove the wreath and how you decorated the truck!! I also am really admiring the black and white checked items that you used....I see that black and white checked items are the Big thing for Fall this year in the stores and magazines!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Very nice entry way. I love your cow plates trimmed in the buffalo check. TFS with #omhgww.
ReplyDeleteThis entryway is so nice! I love that even though it's not a huge space, it's still dressed up, and fun. The addition of the sunflowers on the truck is perfect. I have chosen this as one of my features for this week's Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party, which goes lives Saturday at 5pm EST.
