For the last couple of years, I have a simple pink and cream buffalo check valance over each of the two windows in the kitchen. |
I thought it was about time for a change to freshen up the kitchen for the approaching holidays. We cook as a family quite a bit in the fall, Thanksgiving , and of course Christmas. |
I love looking out the windows when I'm in the kitchen, so I probably won't close them very often but at least I will have the option. |
I have had a few yards of toile in my stash of fabric for several years and decided that it would be perfect to use for my new curtains. |
I began my new window treatment by hanging 2 buffalo check rag garlands across the top of the window. My pre made garlands came from Hobby Lobby |
Since I only had a few yards of my toile fabric I made the panels very simple and hung them with black clips on the rod. |
I love the new look....... |
Simple but effective! |
That pink thing up against the wall is the noodle board that I put on the stove sometimes......this is where I store it when not in use. |
I've started putting out a few fall decorations on the counters.....be back soon with a tour of my fall kitchen. I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back soon! |
