The first thing I did was print a banner to hang across the mantel. |
My very talented friend Kerryanne designed this lovely banner and you will see many of her other designs scattered across the mantle too. For a free....yes I said free.....copy of her banner, just click here....... https://www.shabbyartboutique.com/2019/08/this-pretty-shabby-fall-banner-is-free-to-download.html |
I filled my mantel with different textures and the pastel colors that I love so much. |
The wheat pumpkin adds a nice contrasting texture when placed next to a smooth white pumpkin. |
Woody pumpkins placed on small bales of hay add more textures to my fall mantle. |
The barn owls that I have scattered around are more of Kerryanne's designs. You will find them in the Tutorial section of her blog. |
In addition to the pumpkin patch, there are lots of other fun things to do at the farm |
Of course, there are hay rides and a corn maze |
I hope you had as much fun visiting my pumpkin patch as I had creating it! |
Penny, I love those little owls so much. The hay bales are too cute. LOL Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI love that you added the hay bales, but I always love seeing the barn!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your latest vignettes. I can (unfortunately) see my tortoiseshelll cat, Dutchess (yes, she had a 'tude), sitting arrogantly amidst all the displaced pretties! Oh, how she would love those little hay bales!
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful! You have such a great eye for design.
ReplyDeleteI like the corn maze! Thanks so much for linking up at the #BloggingGrandmothersLinkParty 41. Shared.
ReplyDeletePenny, What a cleaver idea for a pumpkin, a wheat woven pumpkin! I like the little owls and the beautiful pumpkin banner. It such a sweet fall decor that you came up with.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Leona
