Bee's, Lemons, and Sunflowers in my Summer Sun Room

I've never used the color yellow too much in my decorating......I'm more of a white and pink kind of girl!

Yellow is such a happy color,  I have to wonder why I haven't decorated more with it in the past.

Well,   I guess I'm trying to make up for the lack of  decorating with yellow in past years by splashing it all around the house this summer.      First in the Kitchen,   then on the back porch,   and  now the sun room!

I've decorated with bee's,  lemons,  and sunflowers in the sun room.......

I have a tour of the sun room for you guys,   hope you enjoy it!

With all the turmoil we've had in 2020,   I think the addition of yellow to our home has made me smile more and be more optimistic about the future!

Have a wonderful day my friends!    xoxo

  1. Absolutely lovely. So cool and refreshing your room is, not that it wasn't before. I do love the spareness you have added, sometimes Us collectors need a little air to breath. I'm about ready to clean out my bedroom as it has become too darn cluttered. Enjoy and yes, smiling is necessary, Sandi

  4. Penny I love pink too, but have always used yellow. It seems to go with everything and brings sunshine where ever you put it. Great Job!

  5. Good morning,
Yes, yellow is such a happy color. Your house looks wonderful with the changes and the use of yellow. I love the pickup trucks, especially the yellow one. I drive a pickup and so does an older sister. Keep up the great wonderful work.

  11. What a showcase room. Are the centers of the sunflowers from paper wasp nests? - Margy

  19. I think the yellow is a nice addition, too. You'll probably enjoy next week's Pinterest Challenge with host Cindy of County Road 407. I won't say anymore (still a secret!), but yellow is involved... I am thinking of painting our bedroom a soft yellow. We had yellow in both our previous bedrooms and it is very happy to wake up to!!

    Enjoy your pretty sunroom,
    Barb :)
