I have loved creating little vignettes around the kitchen this spring....... |
I want to share them with you guys today just in case you might need some inspiration to get started with decorating your home for spring |
To avoid a cluttered look for my vignettes I keep them as simple as possible..... |
Over the years, I have definately learned that less is more when it comes to vignettes! |
I want each and every piece of decor in my vignettes to get their share of the "spotlight" |
It is so easy to create a cluttered look when decorating a cabinet that has several shelves on it. |
I probably could have done without the Farmhouse sign on this shelf, but I don't always follow my own rules....lol! |
I frequenly use similar items when I create vignettes in a cabinet with multiple shelves..... |
In the case of this cabinet, one of the similar elements are the Spring canvas prints displayed on each shelf. All of my prints were created by the very talented artist.....Debi Coules
I finished off my vignettes with spring vegatables that added another similar element to my shelves |
My spring kitchen is coming together nicely and I will be ready to share a tour with you guys pretty soon! |
So cute!
ReplyDeleteOh my Penny! I would not have thought to put lids over burner covers, I wish I did not have a glass top for many reasons, and now I can include this reason too! Your kitchen is adorable, I will be featuring it Wednesday for Whimsy Home Wednesday this week. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration with us!
