I'm creating a " scaled down" Christmas kitchen this year. I usually have the counters loaded with Christmas decor, but this year....well, I've been a little more laid back! |

It's hard to hang anything in the kitchen window while trying to balance myself as I stand in the sink! A simple wreath is my answer to that problem....lol! |

The next counter I cleaned and decorated yesterday is where our morning coffee is served..... |

I cleaned out the upper cabinets to make room for some of my favorite coffee & tea pots ..... One of the drawers under the counter holds our ever-growing stash of assorted K-cups.... the other drawer has tea bags.... |

Here's a better photo of the K-cup/ tea bag drawers. The cabinet below the drawers is full of coffee/tea cups....more tea pots...just a big mess that I can't share right now And maybe never......! |
What a beautiful kitchen! I could not handle all the white as it would not stay clean here on the farm, but it is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteAh, I love setting Christmas up in the kitchen...first, but it has to serve as our dining room also for Thanksgiving...so it will stay for another week or more before Christmas crawls out of the boxes!

ReplyDeletePenny, your kitchen is always beautiful! I know I look at ours and get disgusted with the clutter of different kitchen apparatus. Love using them all, but hate cluttered counters ~ which is why I hardly ever show our kitchen in posts, lol! ;) Love your Santa & Mrs. Claus. Charles and I are turning into a pair of S&Mrs.C as we speak. Hoping that when Charles retires, he could make an appearance as Santa at a local mall each year. We knew several Santas when we were doing gift wrapping for our Scout troop kids to earn money for camp each Christmas season. He'd be good at it.
