Spooky Chalkboard Globes

H painted a couple of my globes with chalkboard paint and I love how they turned out.   I "seasoned" them with white chalk and then instead of wiping it off with a damp cloth....I just took my fingers and smeared the chalk dust around the globe.

I thought that technique kinda made them look spooky!

They both looked like this before they were painted...forgot to take a picture of the smaller one.  This large one had the mountain regions raised ....you can barely see them (they look like blisters) on the beige continent at the top of the right photo.

See how cool the "mountains" look on the blackboard globe?

I clipped on two little black glittered birds...look at their sweet witch hats!

I also added a dried rose swag to the vignette.
