Dressed for Halloween

I "dressed" the entry for Halloween by dressing a chair with a spooky black witch dress.   This tattered vintage wedding dress was worn by my dress form last Halloween,  but I wanted to do something different with it this year.
I found this plain jane witch at Tuesday Morning,  so I had to embellish her just a little.....
and here is her side kick...lol!

All of my other owls have a sweet look,  but this one looks EVIL....
I didn't have a caldron for my witch to stir,  but I thought this old chamber pot kind of looked like one.   I stacked some black velvet pumpkins in it.....
And place some matching ones beside it.
I wanted to show you a close up of the witches dress.     H dyed it in a big pot out in the back yard last year.  The dress had several kinds of  fabrics and they all absorbed the dye in a different way for a great look.
Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

  5. The black wedding dress on your dress form was one of my favorites last year. I love the way you have styled it this year on the chair. That is one evil-looking owl! Thanks for sharing your Halloween vignette on Make It Monday.
