Valentine Decor in the Entry

The entry hadn't had a face lift in quite a while,  so after Christmas I pretty much cleared everything out and started new
.
Hershel begged to stay in the entry but he needed to have a few Valentine touches to fit in.     So,    I tied a Valentine banner to his antlers and put a pretty flower garland around his neck and let him stay....lol!

The only other thing we kept in the entry was the harp table,  but it got moved to a different wall.

It's a little early for me to get out the Valentine decor,  but I didn't want to do anymore winter vignette's.

I wanted to show you a close up of the Valentine crown that I made several years ago from a Dollar Tree birthday party crown.

I married a headboard to two tea cup shelving units to make a new piece for the entry....

On the left is the cupboard that was there before.......................................on the right is the new arrangement.
Left is before........................................................................................Right is after

I took a few close up shots of some of the things I filled the shelves with......................

Here is a close up of the 3D vintage Valentine that I have displayed next to the harp table.....

I had to take them to the kitchen to get enough light to get a good photo...lol!

This is the other wall in the entry.
I just put some stuff on the wall to fill in the space until I get the piece out of storage that is going there.

I'm going to do a post later and give the details on the new Valentine wreath that I made....be back soon!

  15. Soooooo pretty!
    Love the tea cup shelves.
I have one that I first painted pink, then creamy white. Then distressed it so the pink shows through. It hangs proudly in my hallway with a collection of antique tea cups and saucers.
    Always so lovely here.
    Thank you for sharing.
