Farmhouse Kitchen Curtains

I added more Farmhouse touches to the kitchen today.....

The centerpiece of this section of kitchen counters is H's vintage mixer......

I asked him to bring in his favorite one from his collection of mixers that are on a top shelf in the studio.

He has them in several colors,  and I had asked him to bring in a white one.       He brought this chrome one in and said it was his favorite....could I use it?   Of course I can!
When you remove the meat grinder from the front,  there is a chrome Dormeyer logo piece that snaps into it's place,  (it's in the next photo)

Next to the mixer is a Farmhouse Kitchen chalk board......

Next to the chalkboard are a couple of roosters ......

I changed the ribbons on the enamel lids from a pink fabric to a blue / white fabric that matches the new curtains.    I replaced the two back enamel covers with  chrome cake plate lids.....

I made my Farmhouse curtains from a $1.50 bottom fitted sheet that I purchase at a yard sale recently.....

In the before photo you can see that I had a pink fabric valance...........................after photo is my simple tie back curtains

The sheet has a small bouquet of blue roses on a white background......

I have all the counters styled now......

I still have a small area next to the fridge that I plan to add some Farmhouse Kitchen touches!!

  15. I love your farmhouse curtains and what a great price! Very creative! The vintage mixer is very nice also. I bought an old one years ago for display, it's still in the garage. Unfortunately, I don't know if our kitchen is big enough to hold it. H's makes a great display piece.
