H and I added "wallpaper" to the front porch this morning. What did I use for the wallpaper.....a pretty yellow and pink floral king size sheet. |
H stapled floral fabric in each of the small walls between the black shutters. |
Left is the before photo....................right is the after photo. |
I love the softness that the fabric adds to the front porch...... |
The little scrap of fabric that you see on the buffet is all that was left of the king size sheet after we completed the project. |
Sitting on the porch....... my happy place |

ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and the addition of color to the front porch!! The floral pattern is so pretty! I envy you that your front porch is covered and you can display so many pretty things on it without fear of the weather damaging things.
Hugs,
Deb

I wish I could join you also. Love the wallpaper, it's a perfect place to sit and chat.
ReplyDeleteWho'd of thought to put "wallpaper" up on a front porch except Penny, you are something else girl. Really looks pretty, colors and flowers. Always enjoy seeing your vignettes, love the bonnet.
ReplyDeleteAs Debbie of Debbie-Dabble said, you can display your pretties on front porch. Up here in western CO don't dare leave anything would care about outside. Our winds here and wild rains get to everything imaginable. Have 2 faux wicker rockers on front porch made to be out but sun so hot/strong worry if they'll hold up out there. Neither back deck or front porch are covered. Have lumber for back deck pergola but now hubs not able to put it up. Can't seem to ever get anybody to help do it.
Ah well someday. Would sure enjoy sitting on your front porch to chat, take in New Mexico scenery. Have great weekend
The wallpaper is pretty. Gives the porch a relaxing and elegant feel.
ReplyDeleteI like the wall paper on the porch. Great idea with the sheet and it really works and looks lovely on your porch. Thanks so much for sharing with us each week at Snickerdoodle Sunday. We love having you.
