I created a Farmhouse style Christmas mantel in the family room this year....so I tried to carry on the theme when I decorated the trees on each side of the fireplace. |
Here's how the mantel looks..... |
Let's look around the tree...... |
At the bottom of the tree I have Santa and his sleigh..... |
Santa has the kindest eyes....... |
And he is dressed in a black velvet suit...... |
One of the beautiful white farm horses is pulling the sleigh ..... |
I have white and black buffalo ribbon on the mantel, so I wanted to add touches of black to the white tree...... |
mercury glass ornaments...... |
a white glitter deer head....... |
plenty of bling...... |
Bird seed ornaments..... |
Pale pink roses....... |
And crocheted table runners are my garland...... |
This is the tree that sits to the side of the family room dining area. I have decorated the two small "outdoor" white trees very simply that sit to the side of my main tree |
This is the view from my chair that I sit in to watch TV and write all my blog posts.... |
WOW! Before I married in 2001, my home was more Victorian/feminine but I changed it so it wasn't as fru fru. I love your fru fru including all the whisps of vintage trims tucked in the tree. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.......like being in a magical Christmas fairyland. Very cute idea using crocheted table runners for the tree garland. Gorgeous decorations. Judy
