Fall Farmhouse Mantel

Hello September!

I know fall isn't officially here,  but I'm in the mood to put out some pumpkins.....

I took everything off the mantel this morning and dug thru a couple or three of my fall totes....lol!     I started my fall mantel by placing a canvas print of three white cows in the center.....

I already had a small  picture of a cow on the displays units that are on each side of the mantel.....

So,  it made perfect sense to put a big picture in the center of the mantel.

Then,   I attached a garland of greenery,  small white pumpkins,  and cotton bolls to the mantel scarf.     I've thought about taking down the ruffled scarf that I've had on the mantel since it's been there a while....but then what would I attach my garland to?

I put some dried pumpkins stems on the shelf at the bottom of the cow picture.

I filled in on both sides of the cow picture with rose fabric pumpkins that I made last year or maybe the year before...

I had made some ticking fabric pillow pumpkins this week and I put one of them on each side of the picture.

I also tucked in a few pink roses into my fall garland.

I decorated for fall in front of the grey and white buffalo print fireplace screen.

I put  FALL letters on the hearth and two big white faux pumpkins.....

I purchased my weathered wood pumpkin at a yard sale for..... I think..... about 3 or 4 dollars (can't remember for sure)

I also changed out the curtain that I draw across the front of the TV when it's not in use......I hate looking at that black hole....lol!

Before..................................................After

Have a fun and safe Labor Day week end!

  13. Visiting from Creative Mondays - I adore your mantle piece, it looks stunning. We don't tend to dress up our interiors over in the UK, although last year I made a door garland with Autumn coloured leaves - it looks super and will be on my door soon! Jacqui
