Summer Floral Design

My flower garden is thriving!
I cut a big basket of flowers to create a centerpiece for the family room table.

Roses.......geraniums.........flocks.......everything is blooming right now

Before I share more of the gorgeous flowers in my centerpiece,     I want to show you the place settings I have on the table.

There's just the two of us for lunch today so my tablescape is simple.      You've seen me use everything in the place setting except the new faux paper plate.

The new faux paper plates are Melamine and they look so realistic!

'
The back says they are from The Christmas Tree Shop,    but I found them the other day at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Okay back to my fresh flower centerpiece........

The lone red rose bud is peeking out from geraniums and flocks......

The Knock out Rose looks right at home next to the Herloom.......

I scattered a couple of faux bumble bee's around my design......

Spikes of Russian Sage give a little different texture to the centerpiece.

Different colors,  textures,  and sizes of flowers  add lots of interest to my centerpiece.

I  cut flocks in different stages of bloom......from full to partial

The roses were cut in stages too......from bud to full bloom.

Here's a photo of the display cabinet that is on the north side of the table

I have  long stems  and lots of leaves on some of the rose buds........I like the look of them sticking out of the floral design.

Lambs ear is a plant often forgotten when creating a floral design
I just realized that I should have cut some  box wood or asparagus fern and added it to my floral design......it would  have added more color and texture!

I try to add new plants to my garden each spring,

Some long stemmed wild flowers would be nice.......any other suggestions?
