Inspiration for Your Summer to Fall Transition

I have several shops that I wander through to get inspiration for my fall decorating and today I'm going to share one of my favorites with you.

First I want to show you what I bought while I was there......

I fell in love with this metal basket hanging from a pulley.    It found a home hanging in the middle of the pass thru from the kitchen to the family dining room.      I filled it with a big pumpkin.......I noticed they are trending this fall.     I've had mine for years,   so I'm glad to see they're back in style!

I created a fall vignette on each side of my hanging basket......

You may remember seeing the chicken feeder I used on each side........

I found it Saturday on my week end treasure hunt. 
  When you pull the top off,  the feeder makes two pieces to use in your decorating.

When I spotted my pulley/ basket,     it was hung from the ceiling. 
There were several people at the front desk,   but this nice gentlemen insisted that he would get it down.      One of the ladies at the desk kept telling him to let her do it,   but he was determined that he would do it....lol!

This antique mall is in an old bowling alley in Lubbock Texas......it's huge with lots of booths.     I could spend a whole day in there,   but there is one booth that I just love and that's the one I spend most of my time in.     It's called The Nest Egg.

I always love visiting with the lady that has this booth but she wasn't there the day I went.

I have a couple of big pumpkins like this one......that I've had for years.......so,  I'll have to get them dug out to use in my fall decorating.

I'm not ready to think about decorating for Halloween yet,   but I enjoyed looking at the decor she had out.

This witch was almost life size and had a sweet face......for a witch...lol!

I think velvet pumpkins will be trending this fall.      

I loved these sunflowers....they looked and felt so real     I may have to get a few of them the next time I'm there.

Silver and pretty fall flowers......love the dome lighting.

I always look forward to seeing the fall 'family".....they are different every year.

The Nest Egg has a great selection of faux flowers.     I bought my paper whites there this past spring.

Around the corner from the Nest Egg is another booth with lots of inspiration.    That's the biggest French drying rack I've ever seen......and I love the metal lighting.

French formal fall......

There are so many beautiful booths in the mall ....it was hard to pick which ones to share.     .

I usually find something in this one to bring home with me......

I didn't find anything the day I was there,   but I sure looked at this birdhouse and thought about it!     Maybe next time....

Here's a sneak peek at what my next project is. 
  I moved the glass display cabinet you can see a little bit of  on the right side of the photo from the kitchen to the family dining room.     Now to decorate it!
