Olives & Roses together in an Olive Bucket

Olive branches and roses.....hummmm......when that idea popped into my head I wasn't sure if that pair would like being together....lol!

What better container to put them in than an olive bucket.

I formed chicken wire over the top to stick my branches and roses into.    Chicken wire works great on a see thru container that you don't want to use floral foam to hold your flowers in.

I started sticking roses into the chicken wire til my container was pretty full.......

Then I used my olive branches just like I would use baby's breath or any other filler.     The light green olives on the  branches in the front are some I've had for a while,   they came from a yard sale.     The darker olive's on the  branches in the back are a recent purchase from Hobby Lobby.

I created my olive and rose design on the kitchen island,    but I made it to sit in the entryway.

Here's where it found a home......

This is the coat/hat rack that sits right inside the front door.

Til next time.......
