Buffalo Check Christmas Mantel

I am lovin' all the buffalo check Christmas decor that all the stores are full of this season.....aren't you!

I already had a big collection of Santa's,   but I couldn't resist picking up one dressed in a black and white buffalo check suit........

or maybe two Santa's dressed in black & white buffalo check would be even better!

I've had this Santa for YEARS......way before buffalo check was trending.      My love for checks and plaids goes back a long way...lol!

I added some temporary touches of buffalo check to the existing fireplace to give it a new look for Christmas.     The metal stockings are hung on a vintage metal gate instead of the mantel for a whimsical look!

I have a wreath hung on each side of the fireplace......

I have always loved the look that naked tree's have .....and since my theme for our home this year is Christmas at the Tree Farm the naked tree's fit right in

I added new Christmas art to the chicken wire screens that are on each side of the fireplace.....

I have had a pink velvet chair on each side of the fireplace for several years and thought it was time for a change.    I brought in a chair that I was using in the studio to put on one side of the fireplace.    The pink velvet chairs found a new home in the formal living /  dining room.

I gave the new chair a makeover with a new slip cover and farmhouse fabric.

This chair is so comfy......I love to relax there with a cup of hot cocoa and a Christmas magazine......

I haven't decided what I will put in place of the tree and Santa on the other side of the fireplace after Christmas.     I've relocated the pink velvet chair that was there before......oh well,    I'll think of something when the time comes....lol!

I have never bought Christmas bedding before.....but I did this year.      I can't wait to share it with you!

I always enjoy your visits so much ,    please come back again soon!

The black and white is so striking. Oh, I do love the new chair in your bedroom and the metal giant stocking. Your new Santas are delightful.
