I'm always looking for new ways to include carrots in my spring decorating and repurposing my old crib spindles into carrots was a fun and easy project. |
I've picked up old spindles at yard sales for years and have a good sized stash of them to use in different projects. |
My collection of spindles are in different colors and stages of chippy peely paint......lol! |
For contrast and texture, I arranged my chippy peely carrots in a beautiful crystal vase. |
I put a Debi Coules canvas print on each side of my carrot bouquet....... |
I didn't get a pic of the greenery bush I used before I cut it apart. My bush came from At Home, but most of the craft stores have bushes that will work as carrot tops. |
If you have more ideas on how to repurpose spindles, I would love to hear them! |
I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back again soon! |
Your 'carrots' turned out great! I like that you placed them in a vase. I'm visiting from Craftastic Monday.
