Spring Kitchen

Welcome to my spring kitchen......come on in!

H & I are having a lite lunch in the kitchen......nothing fancy but I still like to set the table for us.

I decorated the pass thru between the kitchen and family dining room for spring / Easter by adding a few touches to the existing decor

A cute chick couple is all I needed to add to my hanging flower basket to get it "spring ready"

I am in love with green this spring and used a heavy hand when I decorated the kitchen for spring.

I find green and pink pair perfectly when decorating for spring....don't you!

I bought my big cabbages at Hobby Lobby several years ago and they have made an appearance in my spring decorating every year since

I kept my vignettes on the kitchen counters a little simpler this spring.

I used to think I had to display everything I had at one time....lol......now I like to just pick a few of my favorite things for a less cluttered look.

Word on the internet is that there's a scramble to find buffalo check bunnies.....I hear Hobby Lobby is pretty much sold out in some locations.     This sweet bunny came from Bed bath and beyond and they still had some when I was in there a few days ago.

I hung my pink / white checked cup towels on the stove and created a simple vignette on the nearby kitchen counter.

The last kitchen wall I have to share with you is the wall with the pass thru in it.    I can be in the kitchen cooking and look thru the pass thru .....see what's going on in the family room......and if any of the family is in the sun room,  I can be part of that too!

There is a small wall on this side of the pass thru that is a little challenging to decorate.     I found a cute cloth calendar on Amazon that was the perfect size for this wall.

Under my calendar I have a metal table with a hen and her chicks on it.     I found my table at Bed Bath and Beyond in the clearance isle.....Reg $60 marked down to $9.      I plan to also use it as a planter by taking off the wooden top and planting it with faux flowers or greenery.

I always enjoy your visits so much,   please come back again soon!

  8. Good morning Penny,
I do love your kitchen. The bunny plates are my favorite too. I don't know why these places put out so few of things that sell so fast. Bunnies are always a hit year after year.
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home.
