Mr McGregor's Garden Mailbox

I'm super excited that Easter is only 3 weeks away.....and spring officially starts in just a few days.

I can't wait to get out in the back yard and so some gardening but for now I am creating a garden in the kitchen.     I created a vignette in this little corner of the kitchen with a nod to Mr McGregor's garden....specifically his garden mailbox.    I planted his mailbox in a big metal bucket and filled the bucket with green cabbages.   Next to the mailbox is a sweet metal bunny.

I decorated the mailbox with seed packets from McGregor's Seed Supply.

On the wall behind the mailbox,   I hung a canvas print.

I'm almost finished decorating the kitchen for Spring/Easter and can't wait to share a tour soon with you guys!

  1. Cute vignette! Mr McGregor's mailbox is adorable! I need to look for some galvanized containers. A new Rural King store will be opening just down the road from us and they have cute farmhouse decor.

  8. I have such a soft spot for Beatrix Potter stories. I still remember going to the library with my older cousins and them reading me the books. Your vignette is gorgeous, Penny! Thank you for sharing it with the Hearth and Soul Link Party. Take care and have a wonderful week.
