Bring Instant Spring Color to your yard with Hanging Flower Baskets

I've found that the easiest way to add some instant spring color to my yard is a quick trip to the garden center.

Over the week end,   our local garden center was advertising hanging baskets for $12.99 each so I stopped by and picked a few of them up for the yard.      I was very surprised at the quality of the baskets for that price....they are gorgeous1

Our snow ball bush is in full bloom and every time I look at it.....it just screams SPRING to me !

If you look at the top right corner of the umbrella,    you can see how tall our snow ball bush is!

There is a large concrete slab in our back yard that used to be the drive way to a second double garage.   Since we didn't need another garage,    we took down the door and replaced it with 6 French doors.   The old garage is now my studio where I create decor for the house......and it also doubles as a warehouse to store all that stuff!
Next to the studio is my Sanctuary.......

The building at the end of the "drive way"   is our greenhouse....

We entertain quite often in the summer out here....

There is extra seating in the studio and our guests always enjoy touring the Christmas room....

H and I made some changes to the furniture arrangement this year on the "drive way"    His grill that was on the front porch and the dining table that was on the back porch found a new home on the "drive way"

Now his grill is close to the table for easy serving!

I still have my spring pillows out,   but I have been working in the studio to get my Patriotic decor ready for the summer.

The lit tree you can see thru the studio doors is the one I decorated for Valentines Day.
The Patriotic section of the studio is right next to it.     I will have a tour of that section in an upcoming post.

Thank you so much for stopping by.....come back soon....you're always welcome!

  7. What beautiful flowers! And such bargains, too! I just bought my first spring basket of flowers last weekend. It was 18.99, and I thought THAT was a bargain! I'll be featuring this post at Thursday Favorite Things today. :)
