Welcome to our Spring back porch...... |

I've made a few changes since last time you saw the porch last summer..... H added panels to each side of the fireplace....the floor lamps didn't make it over the winter, so I put some lamps that I already had on hand on the mantel... |

H rolled the ottoman out of the sunroom for the afternoon.....our plan is just to relax! |

The back yard has changed a lot in the last couple of weeks.... |

The ivy on the fence only had a few leaves a few weeks ago and now it has filled in nicely.... |

The plant under the tree was just peeking out of the ground a few weeks ago.... |
 |
Now it has almost taken over! |

| I will work up a post sharing the progress around the yard when I get a chance to take some pics.....but for now, I'm going to prop my feet up and relax! |

So pretty! I wish I could do something like that, but with a crazy dog and many windy days and nights, it would all fall into disarray. It's nice to see what goes on in your world.

ReplyDeleteOh, how delicious for the eyes, I can just imagine a breeze and some iced tea under your cooling trees. Simply Lovely, here, in Chicagoland we are about 25% budded out, and only thing blooming are Daffys and a few tulips, oh, some flowering trees. Fun to see what might eventually come our way. Sandi
ReplyDeletePenny, your husband is always creating something wonderful for your home! I like the new panels flanking the fireplace ~ really gives your back patio an outdoor room feel. :) I imagine your starting to get really hot right about now. We are blissfully still in the 70's and 80's with only one 91 deg. day so far (I hope it stays away until late May!). Makes for some really nice afternoon walks and days not too hot for gardening chores.
