Autumn Dining Room

Welcome September!.....

I took advantage of the long Labor Day weekend to decorate for fall.....
I displayed the quilt my great great Grandmother made on the dining room table.   Of course it is for display only, I would never eat on it.    In fact, I put a crocheted overlay on it to protect it a little more from curious little grands wanting to touch it!

I carried on the orange/lavender fall color scheme I started in the family room.....  

I was really surprised when I found pillow covers in those colors!

I used a pitcher & bowl set that belonged to my mother to create a centerpiece for the table....

 I created simple vignettes for the side tables on each end of the sofa...

I am finished decorating the family living/dining room for fall....

All that is left for me to do is photograph the fireplace mantel & lit cabinet
 and write up a post to share. 
 Have I ever mentioned that I love to take pictures almost as much as I like to decorate!
