Spring Decorating in a Long Hallway

My long hallway has been a quite a challenge to decorate over the years....the more I tried to fill up the walls....the more cluttered the hallway looked!

I came across this long shabby chic weathered window at a yard sale and it has been an answer to my hallway dilemma....

(The hallway begins in the entry and goes all the way to the bedrooms....about 60 feet.   At the end of the window is the door to the laundry room...and then a wide spot in the
hallway)

I've decorated my window so many ways over the years...

Some seasonal or holiday clipart hung in a few of the empty windows is all I need to keep a simple & uncluttered look

I chose some prints this time that have both a seasonal & holiday look....
Spring & Easter

The soft watercolors in the window clipart give the hallway such a peaceful feel...

"life is short, buy the flowers"

I can't wait to work in the yard.....hurry SPRING!

Curtains gave the window a "heavy feel" but I found pieces of Battenburg lace & vintage doilies gave my window the soft airy look that I like

A wreath hung in the center of the window is a simple but gorgeous way to add just a pop of color to my long hallway

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my hallway.
I hope you saw an idea or two that might help you solve a problem area in your home....hugs!
