I am calling this tablescape "English Roses and Fall" The centerpiece for the buffet is a cornucopia filled with lots and lots of English roses. |
Each guest will have a plate that I have selected just for them! |
I love old silver! It doesn't have to match, each piece is beautiful! |
There are two place setting of this rose pattern |
The table centerpiece is a simple pot of roses. I added a rose pumpkin for a hint of fall. |
This is a English style Biscuit Jar. We will have biscuits, butter, and jelly for dessert |
Rose covered butter dish....with a small silver butter knife. |
Nothing says fall like a cornucopia...painted white and filled with English roses ..... |
Lots of roses! |
This is the pole lamp that we bought at the auction last Saturday. |
Of course, I wanted it painted white |
Here is the before picture! |
I used the beautiful embroidered placemats that I bought at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago |
This is a Chocolate set that my mother gave me for Christmas about 10 years ago. We will have hot cocoa with our dessert. |
Thank you for visiting...please come back soon! |

Thank you, Penny. Your blog is beautiful and a very special gift to me today. I'm a novelist, and today I'm beginning the third book in my series The Bradford Legacy. The most loved character in the first two books is Great Aunt Kathleen of Charleston, SC. Believe me, she would adore your tablescape! Of course she would move it out on her piazza, so she could view her garden while she sipped her tea from your beautiful china. So glad to find you!

Penny, I'm amazed at the way you can make things work together! You do a great job of taking ordinary elements and making them just right for your style. :)
ReplyDeletePenny this is gorgeous! I adore your assortment of rose dishes. I was looking through a magazine that came in the mail the other day. I think it was Mary Jane's Farm. At the back it advertised seeds for pink pumpkins. I immediately thought of you. Noone does pink quite like you! Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
